New Solar Array Layouts & Ridge Vents
So it was a big day today. Ridge vents are being installed, new solar array layout was decided on (more panels and two inverters) and a reporter came by from the Austin American Statesman for an interview and photos. The Statesman article will focus on a number of items (Pecan Street Project, other Mueller Neighbors, etc) not just me and my solar array. The article should be in this Saturday or Sunday's paper.
Ridge Vents - All previous venting is being removed or moved, holes patched and new baffled ridge row venting is being installed. See photos of work in progress.


New Solar Array Layout - System will now consist of two inverters and 64 panels for a total of 11.2 kW. The array layouts are as follows:

- South - 44 panels @ 175 Watts each for a total 7.7 kW. This array will run into an SMA Sunny Boy 7000US inverter.
- West - 20 panels @ 175 Watts each for a total of 3.5 kW. This array will run into an SMA Sunny Boy 4000US inverter.
